So combine all these three, Canon came into existence September 15, 1947. Slowly, the company began to expand, and has created a lot of vintage cameras like the 50mm f/1.8 lens in 1951 Serena, in 1961 Canonet AF35M (Autoboy) in 1979 and the EOS 650 in 1987.

First digital camera was the Canon PowerShot 600 in 1996. Then, after severalAdvances in digital technology, has launched the Canon EOS D2000 digital SLR camera for professionals in 1998.
